Wind Dance

Description

Instrumentation is 12 flutes with 2 also playing piccolo, marimba and timpani. The composer gives specific instructions for the arrangement of players on the stage, and makes great use of the spatial arrangement for antiphonal effects inspired by the polychoral masses of the Renaissance. It is intended to be enjoyable for both performers and the audience.
