Waltz Italiano

Description

Waltz Italiano is an original light composition. As it moves along at a steady pace in three-quarter meter, the music is quite ethnic sounding and reminiscent of many of the famous waltzes from Italy.

This music is written for expandable flute choir; a successful performance can be done using a quartet of C flutes on the first four parts. As instruments are added they are used to expand the harmonic support, reinforce a line of another part, or introduce new counter melodies.
