’As flute players, our creative life is forever bound in the air we breathe and blow – this wonderful invisible resource that is the foundation of our Art. I first performed …And The Wind Whispered… in Botswana and Zimbabwe in February 2009, but it took until 2011 before it was written down.

‘…And The Wind Whispered….’ is deliberately written down in approximate notation. I give you some basic ideas, modes, melodies, sequences and atmospheres…but it is up to YOU to find your own thing, to establish your own flow and connection between the various episodes, creating a free, flowing and improvised feel for the piece.’
