Karen Goulay presents Beyond Them, The Constellations Falling for two contrabass flutes.

In two movements – Melted and Out in the Air – Beyond Them experiments with quicker sounds and ideas than the contrabass flute usually encounters. The first movement features the two flutes rolling against each other in liquid motion, and the second features rhythmic, driving mixed meters and multiphonics that lend the piece an unquestionable punch.
