Apollo Concerto No. 1

Description

Michael Short was born in Bermuda and educated in England. He has written a wide variety of music, including many pieces commissioned by professional and amateur ensembles. This flute concerto is in three movements: a mechanical allegro based on simple arpeggios, an atmospheric slow movement, and a lively finale based on Bulgarian rhythms.
