Bill Holcombe’s 12 Intermediate Jazz Etudes for Flute were created in response to the popularity of the 24 Jazz Etudes series. Designed to be easier and more accessible for the classical player, the 12 Intermediate Etudes use simpler rhythms and chords to make absorbing styles and eventual improvisation easier.
