Flute Fingering Calculator

Description

The Flute Fingering Calculator is the ideal tool for beginning and intermediate students as well as teachers.

The front side of the wheel shows octaves 1 and 2 with fifths being indicated with black arrows. Finer placement is represented by darkened holes with alternate fingerings shown in gray.

The back side of the wheel gives the sharps and flats associated with the Major and minor keys

The unique design of the rotary flute fingering chart makes it ideal for use as a key transposition aid. Point the main pointer to the key of the piece you wish to transpose and place a piece of tape or an erasable mark on your destination key on the wheel. Now whenever the main pointer is directed to a note in your piece to be transposed, the transposed note will be pointed to by the temporary marker.
